The CC2511Fx family provides you with a powerful microcontroller with flash memory, the market's leading 2.4 GHz radio and a full-speed USB interface - all on one chip! This unprecedented level of integration ensures easy development and high data throughput, as well as minmum physical size.
Conventional two-chip solutions communicate through a serial interface, limiting data throughput and tying up the MCU with data transfers. With built-in DMA, the CC2511Fx family radio can access memory directly, freeing the MCU from using processing power to move data. A full-speed USB with 12 Mbps transfer rate ensures the USB communication will not become a bottleneck.
There are three different version of the CC2511Fx:
