Frankfurt, VDO Dayton delivers full sound at the workplace and has thus designed a new series of radios, especially for use in trucks, transporters, construction and agricultural machinery. The three tuners CD 5326 X-24V (CD tuner with MP3), CD 5206 X-24V (CD tuner) and CR 5206 X-24V (cassette radio) can be connected directly to the 24 Volt vehicle system, thus reducing installation expenses. They provide an outstanding sound quality at an attractive price and have a design suitable for industrial use.

n addition to the wide range of 12 Volt tuners, which can only be used in commercial vehicles in combination with a special voltage transformer, VDO Dayton now supplies three new tuners directly for the 24 Volt system in trucks and working machinery. This makes plug & play installation possible without any accessories being necessary. The new tuners offer modern car radio functions, such as RDS (Radio Data System) or the possibility of connecting a CD changer, combined with a sturdy design suitable for use in commercial vehicles. The radios can be programmed in such a way that they can be triggered via a remote control on the steering wheel. An iPod can be connected to all the units via an additional adapter. The CD 5326 X-24V can also play MP3 and WMA files from CD. VDO Dayton has developed an especially large and clear display for operating convenience. The design is in line with the requirements of standard ECE-R 121, ensuring passive safety in the event of an accident.
