BEAVERTON, Ore., - Tektronix, a leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, announced that two of its products were selected by the editors of Test & Measurement World magazine for its Best in Test 2007 industry awards.

The AWG7000 Arbitrary Waveform Generator has received a Best in Test Award - one of 12 receiving the honor and making it a finalist for Test Product of the Year 2007. In addition, the DPO4000 Series oscilloscopes received an honorable mention. The awards honor products that have brought a significant technological advancement to the test industry.

The AWG7000 is now a finalist for the 2007 "Test Product of the Year" award, which will be determined by the magazine's readers, who vote online between now and January 26, 2006. Ballots are available online at www.tmworld.com/awards.

"The ability to create, generate, or replicate either ideal, distorted, or "real-life" signals are essential in the design and testing process," said Rick Nelson, Test & Measurement World chief editor. "Our editorial panel was pleased to choose the AWG7000 as one of this year's 12 'Best in Test' products."

"It is an honor to be recognized by Test & Measurement World magazine's editors for their annual awards process," said Bob Buxton, Marketing Manager, Signal Sources Product Line, Tektronix. "We value their industry recognition as it reflects the unique contribution of the AWG7000 signal generator. The AWG7000 is the world's fastest AWG, designed to meet the test needs for high-speed serial data buses and wideband digital RF devices."
