| Harris Corporation Adds Adecco Technical Services to Its Team to Pursue $200 Million U.S. Postal Service Technical Support Program | | | | FALLS CHURCH, Va., — Harris Corporation , an international communications and information technology company, has added Adecco Technical Services to its team to pursue a $200 million-plus contract with the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) engineering organization in Merrifield, Virginia. Harris and Adecco, both with extensive experience supporting the USPS and its engineering organization, have teamed for the pursuit of the technical engineering and quality assurance support contract, which is expected to be awarded in March 2007.
"This program is an ideal fit for our team, which combines the proven engineering and integration skills of Harris and the long-standing quality assurance support of Adecco," said Terese Swatt, program manager, Enterprise Services, Harris Technical Services Corporation (HTSC). "We understand the importance of the USPS's engineering mission and look forward to building on our already strong relationship with them."
Harris has provided mission-critical technical support services to the USPS for more than 18 years, including support of the USPS engineering facility in Norman, Oklahoma for the past three years. Adecco has provided quality assurance services to the USPS engineering organization for the past 12 years.
