| Freescale shares vision for embedded intelligence and connectivity at
technology forum | | | |
ORLANDO, Fla. (Freescale Technology Forum) – – When 1700 technology
enthusiasts gather in Orlando this week for the Freescale Technology Forum, it will be as much a celebration of a
milestone as a deep dive into the latest in semiconductor innovations.
Freescale Semiconductor (NYSE:FSL, FSL.B)
is staging its inaugural technology developer conference on the eve of its one-year anniversary, the second largest
high-technology IPO of 2004. Freescale went public on July 16 and has since delivered strong financial performance
and a steady stream of innovations.
Freescale’s customers, partners, analysts and media will
converge in Orlando to learn how the company is transforming itself and to absorb 400 hours of technical training
and 200 technology demonstrations for silicon, system and software professionals.
Intelligence
and connectivity
Michel Mayer, Freescale chairman and CEO, will kick off the conference and
outline how Freescale, the leader in embedded processors, will continue to play a central role in an age of
pervasive computing that drives market opportunities for its customers.

designed for portable consumer electronics. The sensor enables freefall detection and g-recognition allowing
electronics to intelligently respond to sudden drops or changes in position.

that debug multi-operating systems, and PowerQUICC™ III and MPC7447 running a network equipment platform.
