DALLAS - Texas Instruments Incorporated today announced it was awarded a
second-year Partners in Performance award by Celestica, a world leader in electronics manufacturing services (EMS),
for its contribution to the company in 2004.
"Texas Instruments is proud to be recognized by Celestica," said
Steve Kelley, Vice President of TI's Standard Linear, Logic, and Military Products Division. "TI is always striving
to provide our customers the support they need to be the best in their markets, whether that be through innovative
Standard Linear and Logic products, pricing, on-time delivery, or technical support. It is always an honor to be
recognized for work and dedication to the Standard Linear and Logic market."
Celestica's
Partners in Performance awards are given annually to the company's suppliers, in recognition of their excellence in
customer service and support of Celestica's global supply chain. This year's Partners in Performance winners
demonstrated a level of responsiveness, flexibility and customer service that positively impacted Celestica's
business and, in turn, the businesses of its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers.
"In
2004, Texas Instruments demonstrated a strong level of the flexibility and responsiveness that drives Celestica's
global supply chain," said John Boucher, chief supply chain and procurement officer, Celestica. "I congratulate
Texas Instruments for its second-year Partners in Performance award, in recognition of the company's contribution
to our success, and the success of our customers." |
