| AKM Launches two Low Voltage Capless Video Amplifier with LPF | | | |
Tokyo, Japan - Asahi Kasei Microsystems Co., Ltd. (AKM), a leading supplier of audio ICs for professional and consumer markets introduces the AK4250 and AK4252 low voltage capless video amplifier with LPF, making them ideal for digital still cameras, personal media players and cell phones with video output feature.
The new amplifiers have two lineups to meet the different signal gains of video DACs. The AK4250 has +6dB gain and the AK4252 has +12dB gain.
The internal Charge Pump circuit provides 0V biased outputs for the video signal outputs which eliminates the need for large DC blocking capacitors or Sag compensation capacitors of 47uF~100uF needed for existing single power supply video amplifier solutions, thereby offering reduced board space and cost.
Additional features include a built-in LPF with a frequency response of –40dB at 27MHz, power down control pin, an operating voltage range from 2.7 to 3.6 V, low power supply current of 10mA under no load, and it comes in a 2.2 x 2.2 x 0.6mm package ideal for the latest ultra-small mounting boards.
The AK4250 and AK4252 are available in a 8-pin USON package. Evaluation boards and samples are available now. To obtain more information, contact AKM, Audio & Video Business Operation, Nishi-Shinjuku 1-23-7, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 160-0023, Japan. |
