| Sipex Appoints Rich Kapusta to Vice President of Interface Products | |||||
Milpitas, California, - Sipex Corporation today announces the appointment of Rich Kapusta to the position of Vice President of Interface Products reporting to Edward Lam, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. "We are truly excited to have Rich as a key member of the marketing team" said, Edward Lam. "With the addition of Rich, Sipex expands its knowledge and expertise in interface markets which will aid us as we define and develop performance solutions." Rich has over 14 years of semiconductor experience with his most recent position as Product Line Director for Cypress's $100M per year High Speed USB business unit. Additionally, Rich has held positions of Strategic Marketing Director, Senior International Marketing Manager, and Applications Engineer within Cypress Semiconductor. "There is a very long legacy of leadership in the interface product category at Sipex." explained Rich, "We have an excellent opportunity to build this business by taking our competencies and expanding into adjacent interface standards.
