| Agilent Technologies Completes Asset Acquisition of PXIT Inc., a Test and Measurement Systems Provider for High-Speed Data Communications | |||||
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Agilent Technologies Inc. today announced it has completed the acquisition of certain assets of PXIT Inc., a privately held company that provides signal integrity testing systems for broadband optical transceiver manufacturers. Financial details were not disclosed. All of PXIT's Massachusetts-based employees have joined Agilent. The combined technology and capabilities of these companies will allow Agilent to continue to innovate in the manufacturing test market, providing R&D and manufacturing customers with increasingly flexible, cost-effective, fast and accurate test systems. The acquisition also unites PXIT's technology with Agilent's worldwide channel to lead the optical transceiver test market. | |||||
