| Vitesse Wins Gigabit Ethernet Designs with China's Leading SMB and Home Networking Developer | |||||
CAMARILLO, Calif. and SHENZHEN, China - Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. announced multiple design wins with TP-LINK, China’s leading provider of SMB and Home Networking switches. Vitesse's world-leading SparX Gigabit Ethernet switch IC series has been adopted by TP-LINK as the premier silicon solution for its new 5- to 24-port 10/100/1000M Smart Ethernet and Unmanaged Ethernet switches. The TP-LINK TL-SG1005D/1008D/1008/1016/1024 switch products are now in volume shipment. “Upon extensive evaluation, Vitesse was clearly the leader in both Gigabit Ethernet Smart and Unmanaged switch IC technology.
