AMI Semiconductor Announces Financing for Acquisition | Pocatello, Idaho – AMI Semiconductor, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of AMIS Holdings, Inc. announced
its intention to finance the majority of the acquisition costs for the semiconductor division of Flextronics with
an additional $110 million tack-on to its current term loan. The remainder of the $135 million purchase price will
be financed using existing cash. The Company will also seek to amend its credit agreement to obtain lender consent

Corporation and HDL Works today announced the optimization of HDL Works' EASE design entry tool for Actel's
Libero Integrated Design Environment (IDE) design flow. The EASE Graphical HDL Design Entry environment provides a
fast and accurate way for design entry, modification and maintenance of VHDL, Verilog and mixed-language designs for
FPGAs and ASICs. Furthermore, the two companies announced the addition of HDL Works to Actel's EDA Alliance

| | Micrel Names New Management Team To Head Sales In Europe | Newbury, United Kingdom — Micrel, Inc. announced that it has named David Brown as the Company’s new
managing director of Micrel Europe. The Company also appointed David Foster deputy managing director for Micrel
Europe. Brown, who has been with Micrel for nine years, was most recently the Company’s Technical Sales Manager.
Brown will now be responsible for Micrel’s legal entity in the U.K., as well as all sales in Europe, the Middle
East, Africa (EMEA) and India. Foster has been with Micrel for eight years, most recently as Micrel’s European
Distribution Manager, and will now add Contract Manufacturing for EMEA and India to his list of responsibilities.
