Microchip Doubles the Performance of the World's Smallest
Microcontroller | CHANDLER, Ariz., — Microchip Technology Inc., announced two new members
of the world’s smallest PIC10F microcontroller family – combining the new option of an onboard 8-bit
analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an 8-bit, Flash PIC® microcontroller in a 6-pin SOT-23 package. This
functionality in an ultra-small form factor is well suited for an extremely wide range of space-constrained and
low-cost applications. The PIC10F remains the first and only 6-pin microcontroller family in the world, and the
increased performance and analog-to-digital converter serve to further expand non-traditional applications for
digital intelligence. | Leer la noticia completa | Miércoles, 20 Julio, 2005 - 01:00
| | Microchip Announces Development Tool for Easy Use of PIC(r) MCUs in
Mechatronic | CHANDLER, Ariz., — Microchip Technology Inc., announced the PICDEM™
Mechatronics Demonstration Kit, which shows engineers and technicians how easy it is to design with PIC®
microcontrollers in an electromechanical or mechatronic system. The Kit comes with nine projects that teach users
how to read sensors, drive a Brush DC or Stepper motor, and display a value on LEDs or a liquid crystal display
(LCD). Additionally, a Mechatronics Workshop In-a-Box series of hands-on seminars is planned to begin in August that
instruct potential users on how to easily utilize Microchip’s semiconductors in electromechanical applications. | Leer la noticia completa | Miércoles, 20 Julio, 2005 - 01:00
