radio modules. The module, designed to operate in the unlicensed 915MHz band, is the smallest, most cost-effective

Regulator | San Jose, Calif. — Micrel Inc. launched the MIC2208, a new 1 MHz 3A PWM buck
regulator IC in a tiny 3mm x 3mm MLF™-10L package. The MIC2208 features a flexible design and ultra-fast transient
response. It is capable of providing a wide range of outputs, allowing efficiencies above 94 percent. The external
compensation allows the use of ultra-small inductor and output capacitor values while providing uncompromised fast

Ethernet IC solutions. The KSZ884x series is part of the 2-port and 3-port Switch/Repeater family launched in June
and July of 2005 and round out the Company’s Embedded Ethernet offerings. Micrel’s new KSZ8842-PMQL, KZS8841-PMQL,
KSZ8841-16MQL and the KSZ8841-32MQL are all aimed at the embedded and industrial Ethernet markets. The new ICs are
